We encourage anyone to provide information that may assist us in bringing our investigations to a successful conclusion. Through our past experience, we find that often times it only takes one small piece of information to solve an unsolved homicide and bring closure to a family devastated by these violent crimes. The families of murder victims must understand that a case is never closed until a verdict has been determined in court. The website is a public record of all unsolved murder investigations where no arrest warrant has been issued or an arrest has been made.

The Toronto Police Service needs to work in partnership with the community to combat all violent crime. We believe that information exists within our communities and we need to engage in open dialogue with those who have yet to come forward. Even a small piece of information, that may appear to be insignificant, may be of great benefit to my investigators.

Toronto Police Service Homicide is comprised of a very dedicated group of men and women who are extremely committed to conducting quality investigations, ensuring that those responsible are held accountable for their actions in a court of law. This diverse group of people, both police officers and civilian members, is very knowledgeable and dedicated to the cause, moving forward in their investigations with great compassion, dignity, diligence and professionalism. My investigators are committed to their task and truly believe: No greater honour will ever be bestowed on an officer, or profound duty imposed on them, than when they are entrusted with the investigation of the death of a human being.

If you, or someone you know, has any information concerning any homicide investigation, please contact our homicide investigators. We also encourage people with information who wish to remain anonymous to contact Crime Stoppers at 416-222-TIPS (8477) with any information.

If you are a family member of a victim of a homicide and you have a photograph that is not on the website or a photograph that is a better representation of your loved one, please contact the homicide office and we will make arrangements to update any information.

The Toronto Police Service is very proud of the men and women who work within the investigation services unit as  they will treat you with respect and ensure that your information is utilized in a manner that is consistent with your safety and security.
