Donna was strangled and left in a parking lot on March 8, 1998 near Jarvis and Carlton Sts in Toronto, ON. She was pregnant at the time of her murder. Donna was a sex trade worker.

Details of Investigation
The following are the circumstances surrounding the murder of Donna OGLIVE.

The deceased Donna OGLIVE was a resident of British Columbia. She has been in the Toronto area for the past five weeks. Donna OGLIVE has been known to travel between Vancouver and Toronto. Donna OGLIVE had been working as a prostitute in the Gerrard Street East and Church Street area of Toronto.

On Sunday, March 08, 1998, at approximately 7:12 a.m., a resident of Carlton Street called police to advise of unknown trouble at the rear parking lot of 130 Carlton Street.

Police from 51 Division arrived on scene and discovered the body of OGLIVE.

The body of OGLIVE was transported to Hospital by Department of Ambulance personnel.

At approximately 7:58 a.m., Donna OGLIVE was pronounced dead.

On Monday, March 09, 1998, post mortem examination was performed on the body of OGLIVE and determined the cause of death to be “STRANGULATION”. It was also determined that Donna OGLIVE was carrying a male fetus approximately 4 months into her pregnancy.

Investigations are continuing.
