Following are the circumstances surrounding the above captioned occurrence.
On Sunday, March 29, 1998 as a result of several calls to the Toronto Police Communications Bureau in regards to a shooting at the Big Bob Club, situated at 651 Queen Street West members of No. 14 Division attended and found the lifeless body of the deceased lying on the dance floor.
Detectives from 14 Division commenced the investigation.
The Department of Ambulance Services attended and the deceased was pronounced at the scene.
The Homicide Squad attended and took charge of the investigation.
The Forensic Identification Services were notified and attended and begun their examinations.
On Monday March 30, 1998, a Post Mortem examination determined the cause of death to be a Gun Shot Wound.
Investigation has determined that the deceased was standing on the dance floor when he was struck by a bullet, the shot having been one of a series of rounds fired by a single assailant who had been standing at the front door of the premises.
Investigations are continuing.
