The Toronto Police Service is requesting assistance with a shooting investigation.

It is reported that:

- on Saturday, February 25, 2017, at 5:23 a.m., in the Bathurst Street and Wellington Street area, a man discharged a firearm, striking another man once in the hip area,

- the suspect then fled in a black Cadillac Escalade

The suspect is described as 6', large build, 25-35, with a light complexion, shaved head, and trimmed beard. He was wearing a black jacket with a white shirt underneath, and white pants.

A security camera image has been released.
