The Toronto Police Service would like to provide an update into an Attempt Murder and Robbery investigation.

On Saturday, December 31, 2016, at 1:12 a.m., police received a call for a shooting.

It is alleged that:

- on Saturday, December 31, 2016, a man, 34, was in an apartment in the O’Connor Drive and Wakunda Place area, visiting with two friends

- three men armed with a firearm forced their way into the residence and ordered two of the three men inside to the floor

- the three men then located the third man in another part of the apartment

- after a brief altercation, the third man was shot in the throat and the three men fled the scene

- the investigation tracked two out of the three suspects to a nearby home and, with the assistance of the Emergency Task Force, two suspects were arrested without incident

- officers located a loaded firearm near the scene and recovered a loaded firearm magazine at the scene

- officers conducted a Criminal Code search warrant at an address associated with the three suspects and recovered a second loaded firearm and clothing used during the commission of the crimes

One man is still outstanding.

A boy, 17, of Toronto, whose name cannot be released under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice act, was arrested and charged with:

1) Attempt Murder
2) Aggravated Assault
3) Assault with a Weapon
4) Use Firearm During the Commission of an Indictable Offence
5) two counts of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
6) two counts of Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
7) Discharge Firearm with intent to Wound or Endanger Life
8) two counts of Careless Storage of a Firearm
9) two counts of Careless Storage of Ammunition
10) Robbery with a Firearm
11) two counts of Possession of a Firearm Obtained by Crime
12) Possession of a Loaded Firearm
13) two counts of Fail to Comply Recognizance

Brandon Graham, 20, of Toronto, has been charged with:

1) Attempt Murder
2) Aggravated Assault
3) Assault with a Weapon
4) Use Firearm During the Commission of an Indictable Offence
5) two counts of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
6) two counts of Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
7) Discharge Firearm with intent to Wound or Endanger Life
8) two counts of Careless Storage of a Firearm
9) two counts of Careless Storage of Ammunition
10) Robbery with a Firearm
11) two counts of Possession of a Firearm Obtained by Crime
12) Possession of a Loaded Firearm
13) two counts of Fail to Comply Recognizance
14) Possession of Crack Cocaine

He was scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall on Friday, January 5, 2016, room 505.

Police continued with the investigation and have located a man who was also wanted in this investigation. On Tuesday, February 28, 2017, officers located and arrested a man.

Christopher Lucas, 18, of Toronto, has been charged with:

1) Attempt Murder
2) Aggravated Assault
3) Assault with a weapon
4) Use Firearm in the Commission of an Indictable Offence
5) two counts of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
6) two counts of Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
7) Discharge Firearm with intent to Wound or Endanger Life
8) Robbery with a Firearm
9) two counts of Possession of a Firearm Obtained by Crime
10) Careless Use of a Firearm weapon prohibited device or ammunition
11) Careless Storage of a Firearm
12) Carry Firearm or ammunition in a careless manner
13) Possession of a Firearm knowing serial number has been tampered with
14) two counts of Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Firearm with ammunition
15) Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
16) Trafficking in a Firearm
17) Possession of Crack Cocaine
18) Possession for the Purpose Trafficking Crack Cocaine
19) Fail to Comply Probation

He was scheduled to appear in court at College Park on Wednesday, March 1, 2017, 10 a.m.

In addition, a sixteen-year old boy, of Toronto, who cannot be named under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, was also arrested. He is charged with:

1) Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
2) Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Firearm with Ammunition
3) Possession of a Firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized
4) Careless Storage of a firearm
5) Carry Firearm or ammunition in a Careless manner
6) Possession of a Firearm Obtained by Crime
7) Possession of a Firearm knowing serial number has been tampered with
8) Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
9) Possession of Crack Cocaine
10) Possession for the Purpose Trafficking Crack Cocaine

He was scheduled to appear in court at 311 Jarvis Street, on Wednesday, March 1, 2017, 10 a.m.
