Assistance sought identifying man wanted in Arson investigation,
University Avenue and Dundas Street West area,
Security camera images now available

The Toronto Police Service is requesting assistance with an ongoing Arson investigation.

It is reported that:

- on Monday, February 27, 2017, a man attended an office building in the University Avenue and Dundas Street West area

- he started a fire on the 16th-floor photocopy room, damaging supplies and equipment

- he then attended the 12th floor where he waited for the alarms to go off

- when the alarm failed to sound, he banged on the doors of another office, alerting them to the fire, and to get out

- he then pulled the fire alarm

The man was wearing what is believed to be a security guard uniform.

Security camera images of the man have been released.
