41 Division’s “Coffee with a Cop” event will take place on Friday, March 10, 2017.
Officers from 41 Division will attend McDonald’s at 1966 Eglinton Avenue East, and sit down with community members in an informal, neutral space to discuss community issues, build relationships and drink coffee.
Events are relaxed, informal and open for discussions about the issues community residents feel are important.
All community members are invited to attend. The event will run from 10 a.m. to noon.
Coffee with a Cop breaks down barriers and allows for a relaxed, one-on-one interaction. The program aims to advance the practice of community policing through improving relationships between police officers and community members one cup of coffee at a time.
