Marijuana dispensary search warrant executed,
Buds 4 Life, 339 Broadview Avenue

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of arrests in a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act investigation.

On Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at approximately 5 p.m., a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant was executed Buds 4 Life at 339 Broadview Avenue.

Cassandra Hynes Higgins, 26, of Toronto, has been charged with:

1) Possession of a Substance (Schedule II)
2) two counts of Possession of a Substance (Schedule II) for the Purpose of Trafficking
3) two counts of Possession of Proceeds Obtained by Crime


Robertha Johnson, 25, of Toronto, has been charged with:

1) Possession of a Substance (Schedule II)
2) Possession of a Substance (Schedule II) for the Purpose of Trafficking
3) Possession of Proceeds Obtained by Crime


Victoria Robbins, 23, of Toronto, has been charged with:

1) Possession of a Substance (Schedule II)
2) Possession of a Substance (Schedule II) for the Purpose of Trafficking
3) Possession of Proceeds Obtained by Crime


Melanie Marshall-Lazou, 25, of Toronto, has been charged with:

1) Possession of a Substance (Schedule II)
2) Possession of a Substance (Schedule II) for the Purpose of Trafficking
3) Possession of Proceeds Obtained by Crime


Brennan Steinberg, 30, of Toronto, has been charged with:

1) Possession of a Substance (Schedule II)
2) Possession of a Substance (Schedule II) for the Purpose of Trafficking
3) Possession of Proceeds Obtained by Crime
4) two counts of Carry Concealed Weapon

They were all scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall on Wednesday, March 29, 2017, 10 a.m., room 114.

It is alleged that the following was seized:

- Marijuana: 1146 grams
- "Shatter": 51.28 grams
- Hashish: 21.35 grams
- Two concealed steel expandable batons
- currency: $15,190 (CAD)
