The Toronto Police Service is seeking assistance locating a man wanted in a hold-up investigation.
It is reported that:
- on Sunday, March 12, 2017, at 3:40 p.m., a man entered a bank in the Danforth Avenue/Woodbine Avenue area
- wearing a large pair of dark sunglasses, he waited in line, then advised the teller he wanted to open an account
- the man then handed over a hold-up note demanding money and threatening everyone in the branch, written on the back of an ATM envelope
- he was given a quantity of money and quickly fled from the bank
The man is described as brown, in his early 20s, 5’8", 150 lbs., short hair.
