Man, 32, charged with assaulting Parking Enforcement Officer,
Yonge Street and Roslin Avenue area

The Toronto Police Service would like to inform the public of an arrest in an Assault Peace Officer investigation.
On Monday, March 27, 2017, a man was arrested for assaulting a Parking Enforcement Officer in the Yonge Street and Roslin Avenue area.
It is alleged that:
- the officer issued a ticket to a vehicle for parking in a "No Stopping" zone
- a man got out of the car and threw a cup of hot coffee in the face of the officer, then fled the scene
- the officer sustained first-degree burns to his cheek
Greg Sawyer, 32, of Toronto, was later arrested and has been charged with:
1) Assault with a Weapon
2) Assault Bodily Harm
He is scheduled to appear in court at 1000 Finch Avenue West on Thursday, May 11, 2017, 10 a.m., room 301.
