Arrest in multiple thefts from vehicles,
Man, 35, faces 68 charges,
Large quantity of property recovered

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest in an investigation into multiple thefts from autos.

It is alleged that:

- between Sunday, April 2, 2017, and Wednesday, April 5, 2017, police received multiple calls from residents in the Main Street/Danforth Avenue, and Scarborough Golf Club Road/Lawrence Avenue East areas

- the callers reported damages to, and thefts from, their vehicles

On Wednesday, April 5, 2017, Bruce Doyle, 35, of no fixed address, was arrested. He is charged with:

1) 32 counts of Mischief to Property - Under ($5000)
2) 32 counts of Theft - Under ($5000)
3) four counts of Fail To Comply with Probation

He was scheduled to appear in court at 1911 Eglinton Avenue East on Thursday, April 6, 2017, 10 a.m., courtroom 412.

It is further alleged that:

- upon his arrest, a large quantity of stolen property was seized
