The Toronto Police Service requests assistance locating a man wanted in a Criminal Harassment and Assault investigation.

On Thursday, April 6, 2017, at 8:49 p.m., officers responded to a call for a suspicious incident in the Sherbourne Street and King Street East area.

It is alleged that:

- in December 2014, a woman, 25, received unwanted attention from a man she worked with

- she told the man she was not interested but he persisted with his behaviour

- between October 2016 and April 2017, he began showing up at the woman's apartment, demanding to see her

- on Thursday, April 6, 2017, the man followed the woman's roommate, trying to determine the whereabouts of the woman

- he then assaulted the roommate

- police have identified the man as David Bar-On, 30. There is now a warrant issued for his arrest.

He is described as 5’10”, 160 lbs., with spiked brown hair, wearing glasses. He often has a light beard and wears dark clothing.

Police believe he may be dangerous. If located, do not approach. Call 9-1-1 immediately.
