Toronto Police Service Homicide is highlighting its Most Wanted list and Cold Cases through a series of weekly video appeals for information.
On Saturday, September 12, 2015, at 3.21 p.m., 43 Division officers found 56-year-old Bevis Larmond on the ground near the apartment building at 4062 Lawrence Avenue East. He was later pronounced dead at hospital, having been stabbed.
It is alleged that Dalvin Lewis, now 49, was identified as being responsible for the murder. On October 7, 2015, a warrant was issued for his arrest for First-Degree Murder.
Lewis is known to use the names "Hopeton," "Jaguar," and "Jaggy."
He was born in Haddo, Jamaica and has strong ties to the Montego Bay community.
“It’s believed he’s currently hiding in Jamaica,” said Homicide Detective Shannon Dawson. “Anyone who may be assisting Dalvin Lewis, or has assisted him, will be held accountable and may be arrested for accessory after the fact to the murder.”
