Fatal collision #18/2017,
Spadina Avenue at Sullivan Street

On Friday, April 14, 2017, at 6:05 p.m., police responded to a call for a personal injury collision on Spadina Avenue, at Sullivan Street.

It is reported that:

- a man, 43, was operating a streetcar, southbound on Spadina Avenue, approaching Sullivan Street

- for reasons not yet determined, a man, 65, walked around a pedestrian safety barrier, and into the path of the southbound streetcar

The 65-year-old man received life-threatening injuries and was pronounced at the scene.
