On Sunday, May 28, 2017, the Aga Khan Foundation Canada will hold their 33rd annual World Partnership Walk. Registration and announcements will take place, prior to the event, at David Pecaut Square, located at Metro Hall.

The VIPs and dignitaries will be required to proceed to King Street West, and start the walk at 11a.m. -11:15 a.m. This group will then continue eastbound on King Street West in the curb lane, then southbound on Simcoe Street. The corporate teams will join the walk at the intersection of Wellington Street West and Simcoe Street. They will join the following walkathon route:

Formation Area - Metro Hall
Eastbound - King Street West (Eastbound Curb lane ONLY)
Eastbound - Wellington Street West
Southbound - Simcoe Street (2 West lanes ONLY)
Eastbound - Wellington Street West (Full Roadway)
Northbound - University Avenue (Northbound Lanes)
Northbound - Queen’s Park (Northbound Lanes)
Turn Around - Queen’s Park at south end of Queen’s Park Crescent
Southbound - Queen’s Park (Southbound Lanes)
Southbound - University Avenue
Westbound - Wellington Street West (Full Roadway)

Dispersal Area: Metro Hall

The event is expected to be concluded by approximately 1 p.m.

Motorists can expect delays in the area and should consider alternate methods of transportation.

ROAD CLOSURES (will be from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.)

Wellington Street West: John Street To University Avenue
S/B Queen’s Park Crescent West: Hoskin Avenue To College Street
N/B Queen’s Park Crescent East: College Street To Wellesley Street
N/B University Avenue: Front Street To College Street
S/B University Avenue: College Street To Front Street

The TTC will not incur significant service disruptions during this event.
