Aboriginal Peacekeeping Unit
On Thursday, June 8, 2017, at 10 a.m., in the lobby at police headquarters, the Toronto Police Service, in partnership with the Aboriginal Consultative Committee, will be hosting the National Aboriginal Day celebrations.
Chief Mark Saunders and Toronto Police Service Board Chair Andrew Pringle will be in attendance.
The event will feature traditional drumming and singing and will include community leaders Ontario Regional Chief Isadore Day and Jessica Wolfe, from Aboriginal Legal Services of Toronto, who will be speaking at the event.
Light refreshments will be served at the conclusion of the event.
