On Saturday, June 3, 2017, at 1:56 a.m., police responded to a call for a personal injury collision at Eglinton Avenue West, east of Miranda Avenue.
It is reported that:
- two men were attempting to cross Eglinton Avenue West, east of Miranda Avenue
- a man, 36, was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Colorado, westbound on Eglinton Avenue West, approaching Miranda Avenue
- the pedestrians were struck by the vehicle as they attempted to cross the road
One of the pedestrians, a 21-year-old man, received life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital.
