Man, 31, charged with Assault on Parking Enforcement Officer,
Annesley Avenue and Roxville Avenue area

The Toronto Police Service would like to inform the public of an arrest in an investigation into an Assault on a Parking Enforcement Officer.

On Tuesday, June 6, 2017, officers responded to a call for a dispute in the Annesley Avenue and Roxville Avenue area.

It is alleged that:

- a Parking Enforcement Officer approached a truck to issue a ticket

- a man placed himself in front of the licence plates to block the officer's view

- as she started to issue the ticket, he grabbed the ticket machine from her hands

- he squeezed her fingers in the process

- she was able to keep control of her machine

Alexander Peever, 31, of Toronto, has been charged with:

1) Assault

He is scheduled to appear in court at College Park on Thursday, July 20, 2017, 2 p.m., room 505.
