GO Train fatality,
East of Kipling GO station

On Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at 6:49 p.m., police responded to a call for a pedestrian who had been struck by a train, on the GO Train tracks, east of the Kipling GO station.

It is reported that:

- a woman, 41, was attempting to cross the GO Train tracks, east of the Kipling GO station

- a westbound GO Train was approaching the Kipling GO station and struck the woman as she attempted to cross the train tracks

The woman received life-threatening injuries and was pronounced at the scene.
