The Toronto Police Service is seeking assistance identifying a man involved in an Assault investigation.

On Saturday, June 3, 2017, at approximately 11:45 a.m., a man approached a 69-year-old man while walking near Queen Street East and Coady Avenue.

It is reported that:

- the man assaulted the 69-year-old man

- the man fled the area

- police located the man on a TTC bus nearby

- when they attempted to arrest the man, he assaulted one of the officers and fled

The man is described as 5'10", thin build, with long curly hair. He was wearing a red sweater, black T-shirt, grey pants.

A security camera image of the man has been released.
