Three men arrested in Attempt Murder Investigation,
2757 Kipling Avenue,
Face total of 45 charges

The Toronto Police Service would like to inform the public of arrests in an Attempt Murder investigation.

On Tuesday, July 4, 2017, at 1:22 a.m., the Toronto Police Service received a call for a double shooting at 2757 Kipling Avenue.

It is alleged that:

- a 19-year-old pregnant woman and a 20-year-old man, along with two children, were at a unit at 2757 Kipling Avenue

- three men, known to the man and woman, entered the unit armed with handguns

- the woman and man were shot at multiple times

- the three men fled the area

- the man and woman were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries

On Tuesday, July 4, 2017, at 8 p.m., McKenzie Seraphin, 32; Tola Paul, 32; and Edsel Augustin, 29; all from Toronto, were arrested. They are charged with:

1) Careless Storage of a Firearm
2) Careless Storage of Ammunition
3) two counts of Attempt Murder
4) two counts of Pointing a Firearm
5) Carrying a Concealed Weapon
6) Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
7) Use Firearm During Commission of an Indictable Offence
8) Possession of a Firearm Knowing Its Possession is Unauthorized
9) two counts of Discharge Firearm with Intent to Wound or Endanger Life
10) Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
11) Use Firearm During Commission of an Indictable Offence
12) Possession of a Firearm Obtained By Crime

They were scheduled to appear in court at 2201 Finch Avenue West on Wednesday, July, 5, 2017, 10 a.m., room 206.
