The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a Sexual Assault investigation.

On Monday, July 10, 2017, at approximately 2 p.m., officers responded to a call for a sexual assault in The West Mall and Burnhamthorpe Road area.

It is reported that:

- a 15-year-old girl was walking on the road

- a man approached her from behind

- he sexually assaulted her

- he then fled in a four-door black BMW

The man is described as white, 5’8”-6’0", early 20s, light-brown/dark blonde-hair, wearing sunglasses, a striped red or purple T-shirt, brown shorts.

There were people in the area who may have witnessed the assault. Investigators are asking for their help identifying the man.
