Three men face charges in ongoing Break-and-Enter investigation,
Richmond Street and University Avenue area

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of arrests in an ongoing investigation into a series of Break-and-Enters.

It is alleged that:

- on Wednesday, August 2, 2017, at 1:52 a.m., three men forced their way into an underground parking garage in the Richmond Street and University Avenue area.

- using an electric grinder, pliers, and bolt cutters, they broke into a secure bicycle storage locker, which gave them access to several high-end bicycles

- at this point, building security became aware

- they alerted police, who attended promptly and arrested three men without incident

Kurt Roarco, 29, of Toronto, has been charged with:

1) Break-&-Enter Commit
2) Possession of Property obtained by Crime
3) Possession of Break-in Instruments
4) Possession of Sched I Substance
5) Fail to Comply with Recognizance
6) Fail to Comply with Recognizance
7) Fail to Comply with Probation Order


Michael Sampogna-Tremblay, 28, of Toronto, has beens charged with:

1) Break-&-Enter Commit
2) Possession of Property obtained by Crime


Matthew Chevrier-Groulx, 25, of Toronto, has been charged with:

1) Break-&-Enter Commit
2) Possession of Property obtained by Crime
3) Obstruct Peace Officer
4) Fail to Comply with Probation
5) Fail to Comply with Probation
6) Fail to Comply with Probation
7) Breach of Conditional Sentence Order

All three men were scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall on Wednesday, August 2, 2017, 2 p.m.
