On Wednesday, August 30, 2017, at 5:03 p.m., police responded to a call for a personal injury collision at Wellesley Street West at Queen’s Park Crescent East.
It is reported that:
- a man, 55, was driving a 2009 Mack truck, westbound on Wellesley Street West, attempting to make a right turn to northbound Queen’s Park Crescent East
- a woman, 41, was riding a bicycle westbound on Wellesley Street West, at Queen’s Park Crescent East
- the cyclist and truck collided
The woman was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
