On Wednesday, June 14, 2017, the Toronto Police Service posted a news release to make the public aware of an ongoing Sexual Assault investigation.

It was reported that:

- on Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at 2 a.m., a 22-year-old woman was working in a building in the Front Street East/Jarvis Street area

- a man attempted to enter the building, which was closed to the public

- when the woman advised the man the building was closed, he attacked her

- he then sexually assaulted her

- the woman fought off the man, then he fled

The man was described as white, approximately 30, approximately 5'6", thin build, brown curly hair. He was wearing a beige sweater, white shirt, blue pants, dark shoes.


On Thursday, August 31, 2017, Clarence Charles Jones, 40, of Colborne, was arrested. He is charged with:

1) Sexual Assault

He was scheduled to appear in court at College Park, on Thursday, August 31, 2017, 2 p.m.
