Man, 35, faces 10 charges in firearm investigation,
Prohibited firearm seized

The Toronto Police Service would like to advise the public of an arrest made and the seizure of a prohibited firearm.

It is alleged that:

- on Sunday, September 10, 2017, police arrested a man in connection with a firearm investigation

- an Uzi submachine gun, seven prohibited magazines, and one round of ammunition were seized

Elvis Iniguez, 35 of Toronto, was arrested and charged with

1) Possession of a prohibited firearm
2) seven counts of Possession of a prohibited device
3) Careless storage of firearm
4) Careless storage of ammunition

He was scheduled to appear in court at 2201 Finch Avenue West on Monday, September 11, 2017, 10 a.m.
