Man, 33, charged with Attempt Murder and Aggravated Assault,
Lumsden Avenue and Barrington Avenue area

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest following an investigation into an attempted murder.

It is alleged that:

- on Tuesday, September 12, 2017, at 2:30 a.m., a man, 22, was leaving a building near the intersection of Lumsden Avenue and Barrington Avenue.

- he was stabbed multiple times by another man

Kofivoaki Boakye, 33, of Toronto, was charged with:

1) Attempt Murder
2) Aggravated Assault

He was scheduled to appear in court at College Park on Wednesday, September 13, 2017, 10 a.m., room 501.
