Man, 29, facing charges in three robbery investigations

Toronto Police Service Hold Up would like to make the public aware of an arrest in three financial robbery investigations.

It is alleged that:

- on Wednesday, September 20, 2017, a man entered a bank near Yonge Street and Carlton Street

- the man approached a teller and verbally demanded money which he obtained and fled

It is further alleged that:

- on Thursday, September 21, 2017, the man and an acquaintance entered a bank near The East Mall and Burnhamthorpe Road

- while the acquaintance was being served in a separate office, the man approached a teller, robbed them of a quantity of money, and fled by himself

It is further alleged that:

- on Monday, September 25, 2017, the man approached a financial institution near Bloor Street West and Islington Avenue

- he demanded the teller give him a quantity of money and fled with the money

He was arrested shortly afterwards by TPS Hold Up officers.

On Monday, September 25, 2017, Stasys Stan Pace, 29, of Etobicoke, was charged with:

1) three counts of Robbery

He was scheduled to appeared in court at 2201 Finch Avenue West on Tuesday, September 26, 2017, 10 a.m., room 205.
