The Toronto Police Service requests assistance locating a man wanted in a Sexual Assault with a Weapon investigation.
On Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at 10:20 a.m., officers responded to a call for a sexual assault in the Weston Road north of Gunns Road area.
It is alleged that:
- a woman was readying her store to be opened
- a man known to her entered the store
- he attacked her
- she struggled against him
- the struggle ensued for several minutes while he sexually assaulted her
- he grabbed a knife that was nearby and made threats
- she was able to fight free and escape
- he fled the area
The woman was taken to hospital where she was treated for non-life-threatening injuries and released.
It is further alleged that:
- investigators have identified the man as David Alleyne, 54, of Toronto.
He is wanted for:
1) Sexual Assault
2) Sexual Assault with a Weapon
3) Threatening Death
4) Weapons Dangerous
5) Threatening Death to Third Party
He is described as 54, approximately 5’7", 170 lbs., medium build, thick moustache. He was wearing a blue spring jacket, blue shorts, low-cut Converse shoes, a red, yellow, and green wrist band, and a white do-rag.
Police believe he is violent and dangerous. If located, do not approach. Call 9-1-1 immediately.
