The Toronto Police Service is requesting assistance locating a missing man.

Robert Ian MacArthur, 72, was last seen on Monday, October 2, 2017, at 11:30 a.m., in the Yonge Street and Bloor Street East area.

He was last seen entering the Marriott Bloor Yorkville Hotel, making his way to the Yonge-Bloor subway station.

He is described as 6'6", heavy build, short grey thinning hair. He is known to wear prescription glasses. He was wearing a yellow windbreaker jacket with blue trim, black sweater with yellow stripes, plaid dress shirt, black pants. He was also wearing navy-blue fabric Croc shoes.

Police are concerned for his safety.
