Two men each charged with two counts of Second-Degree Murder

On Sunday, October 1, 2017, at 3:12 a.m., police responded to a shooting in the Cherry Street and Polson Street area.
It was reported that:
- two men had been shot

The victims have been identified as Zemarai Khan Mohammed, 26, of Toronto (Homicide #44/2017), and Tyler Mclean, 25, of Toronto (Homicide #45/2017).
On Monday, October 2, 2017, search warrants were executed in the York Mills Road and DVP area.
Abdirisaq Ali, 23, of Toronto, and Tanade Mohamed, 24, of Edmonton, were arrested and each charged with:
1) two counts of Second-Degree Murder
They were scheduled to appear in court at College Park on Tuesday, October 3, 2017, 10 a.m., room 501.
