Fail-to-remain fatal collision #48/2017,
York Mills Road, west of Don Mills Road

On Wednesday, October 4, 2017, at 11:08 p.m., police responded to a call for a personal injury collision at York Mills Road, west of Don Mills Road.

It is reported that

- a woman, 63, was walking on the north sidewalk of York Mills Road, west of Don Mills Road

- a vehicle, described as a blue 2014-2016 Nissan Rogue, was westbound on York Mills Road, west of Don Mills Road

- for reasons not yet determined, the vehicle left the roadway, mounted the curb, and struck the woman

- the driver and vehicle failed to remain at the scene of the collision

The woman was pronounced at the scene.

Police are seeking assistance locating a blue 2014-2016 Nissan Rogue. The vehicle will have damage to the right front headlight and fog light areas, and was last seen westbound on York Mills Road. The driver of the vehicle involved in this collision is also being sought.
