Man, 40, charged in investigation into Assault on
Parking Enforcement Officer,
Adelaide Street West and Simcoe Street area

The Toronto Police Service would like to inform the public of an arrest in an investigation into an Assault on a Parking Enforcement Officer.

On Wednesday, October 25, 2017, at 12:48 p.m., a Parking Enforcement Officer was issuing tickets in the Adelaide Street West and Simcoe Street area.

It is alleged that:

- a man, 40, became very aggressive and assaulted the Parking Enforcement Officer who was issuing a ticket to a vehicle that did not belong to the man

- police arrived, investigated, and subsequently arrested the man

On Wednesday, October 25, 2017, Brandon Vigon, 40, of Toronto, was arrested.

He is charged with:

1) Assault Peace Officer
2) Obstruct Peace Officer

He is scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall on Tuesday, November 21, 2017, 11 a.m.
