Assistance sought identifying two men in

The Toronto Police Service is requesting assistance identifying two men wanted in a residential Break-and-Enter investigation in the Birchmount Road and Steeles Avenue East area.

It is reported that:

- on Thursday, August 31, 2017, at approximately 2 p.m., two men forced open the front door to a single detached home and made their way inside while the residents were at home

- upon entry, one of the men began to run up the stairs when he was confronted by a resident

- both men then turned around and fled the home

- they were last seen leaving at a high rate of speed in a dark-coloured SUV.
