Man, two girls, face charges in Robbery investigation,
Marlington Crescent and Chalkfarm Drive area

The Toronto Police Service would like to inform the public of arrests in an ongoing Robbery investigation.

It is alleged that:

- on Tuesday, November 7, 2017, at approximately 7:10 p.m., a woman, 39, was walking in the Marlington Crescent and Chalkfarm Drive area

- she was approached by a group of males and females

- a firearm was pointed at her, then she was pushed to the ground

- her backpack was stolen

Two girls, both 15, were arrested by police near the scene.

On Wednesday, November 8, 2017, Sorie Ibrahim Conteh, 20, of Toronto, surrendered to police and was arrested.

A girl, 15, and Sorie Ibrahim Conteh, 20, both of Toronto, have each been charged with:

1) Robbery with a Firearm

A girl, 15, of Toronto, was charged with:

1) Robbery with a Firearm
2) Fail to Comply with Recognizance

All three are scheduled to appear in court at 2201 Finch Avenue West on Wednesday, November 8, 2017, 10 a.m., room 204.
