On Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at 11 a.m., the Humber College Institute of Technology & Advanced Learning is hosting police officers from across Ontario for the launch of the 2017/2018 holiday CAA Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E.) CHECKS program – a campaign to emphasize the importance of not driving impaired.

Members from several partner agencies will be in attendance:

- Chris Whittaker, President Humber College and Host Of Today's Holiday RIDE Launch
- Superintendent Scott Baptist of TPS Traffic Services
- Sandra Siskind Diamond & Diamond PI Lawyers
- Inspector Vanessa Leslie OPP Highway Safety Division

- Dr. Roger Ferreira Chief Science Officer Of Believe Inc

R.I.D.E. CHECKS and CAA's Rewards supports the efforts of police services in the Greater Toronto Area by giving them booklets to make available to citizens, either at roadside spot checks or for pick up at their nearest police facility. The CAA R.I.D.E. CHECKS Rewards Booklet details the penalties associated with drinking and driving and includes money-saving coupons.
