The Toronto Police Service requests assistance identifying a woman wanted in an investigation into an Assault on a TTC driver.
On Tuesday, November 28, 2017, at 3:24 a.m., officers responded to a call for an assault in the Yonge Street and King Street area.
It is reported that:
- a woman boarded a TTC bus at Yonge Street and Steeles Avenue
- she sat near the back and fell asleep
- when she awoke, she began yelling and swearing at the driver
- she spat in his face and on his clothing, then fled the bus
She is described as 25-35, dark hair. She was wearing dark tights, light-coloured waist-length winter jacket with hood with fur around the edge and thick black line down the center, a shirt that hangs down below the bottom of the jacket. She was carrying clothing under her arm and a white-and-green reusable shopping bag.
