On Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at 5:18 p.m., police received a call for a personal injury collision at Brimley Road, south of Heather Road.
It is reported that:
- a man, 71, was attempting to cross Brimley Road, south of Heather Road
- a man, 64, was driving a 2006 Toyota northbound on Brimley Road, approaching Heather Road
- the pedestrian was struck by the vehicle as he attempted to cross the road
The man received life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital.
