The Toronto Police Service would like to inform the public of an update in a Theft Over $5000 investigation.

On Monday, December 1, 2017, at 4:12 p.m., officers responded to a call for a theft in the Yonge Street and Queen Street area.

Suspect #5 has been identified as a Young Person. His photographs have been removed from previous news releases, and can no longer be published

Please refer to Section 110, Subsection 1, of the YCJA:

110. (1) Subject to this section, no person shall publish the name of a young person, or any other information related to a young person, if it would identify the young person as a young person dealt with under this Act.
