The Toronto Police Service is seeking assistance identifying a man and woman wanted in a Theft and Assault cause Bodily Harm investigation.
It is reported that:
- on Saturday, December 30, 2017, at approximately 11:55 p.m., a man was in a restaurant in the Spadina Avenue and College Street area
- he realized that an unknown man and woman, also in the restaurant, had left and had stolen a bag he had with him
- when the man left the restaurant and confronted the pair about the stolen property, he was assaulted by them, and sustained major injuries to his face
- the man and woman were last seen fleeing southbound on Spadina Avenue, then westbound on Oxford Street
The male suspect has been described as 25-27, 5’8”, average build, brown eyes, black hair worn in a bun. He was wearing a brown hooded jacket, dark jeans, carrying a green LCBO bag.
The female suspect has been described as 25-35, 5’7”, stocky build, long blonde/brown hair. She was last seen wearing a long grey winter jacket, dark pants, black shoes.
