Toronto Police Service Hold Up would like to make the public aware of an arrest in a retail Robbery investigation

It is alleged that:

- on Thursday, January 18, 2018, at 8:15 p.m., a man entered a convenience store in the Wilson Avenue and Dufferin Street area

- a man loitered in the store for several minutes then grabbed some merchandise and fled without paying for the items

It is further alleged that:

- the store attendant, a 38-year-old man, chased him and when he caught up to him he struggled with him to get the property back

- the man then produced a handgun from his waist, racked the slide and the man, 38, backed off and the man fled

On Thursday, January 25, 2018, Josias Bruno, 18, of Toronto, was arrested by 32 Division officers and charged with:

1) Robbery While Armed With Firearm

He appeared in court on Thursday, January 25, 2018, at 1000 Finch Avenue West, 2 p.m., room 306.
