The Toronto Police Service is seeking assistance with a Homicide investigation.
It is alleged that:
- on Monday, February 26, 2018, at 11:57 p.m., police responded to reports that a man was being assaulted by another man in the Bathurst Street and St. Clair Avenue West area.
- officers arrived on scene and located a man with obvious trauma
- he was taken to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, and was pronounced
The man has been identified as Terrance Coughlin, 59, of Toronto.
Toronto Police Service Homicide took carriage of the investigation.
It is further alleged that:
- the suspect has been identified as Curtis Ashley Wheatley, 35, of Toronto.
He is wanted for:
1) First-Degree Murder
A Canada Wide warrant will be taken out on Wednesday, February 28, 2018, for his arrest.

Police warn that he is considered violent. If located, do not approach. Call 9-1-1.
