The Toronto Police Service would like to inform the public of an arrest in an Escape Lawful Custody investigation.

On Sunday, April 15, 2018, at approximately 6:10 am., a man escaped police custody. He was last seen in the Dundas Street West and Bathurst Street area.

On Sunday, April 15, 2018, at 11:30 a.m., Gary James Rogers, 51, was arrested.

He has been charged with:

1) Escape Lawful Custody
2) Five counts of Robbery
3) Five counts of Fail To Comply Probation

He was scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall on Sunday, April 15, 2018, at 2 p.m.
