On Saturday, April 20, 2018, just before 8 a.m., officers responded to a call for a stabbing at 40 Gordonridge Place.

Officers arrived and located a man suffering from stab wounds. He succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced at the scene.

He has been identified as Joel Newby, 23, of Toronto.

A post-mortem exam was conducted on Sunday, April 22, 2018. The cause of death was determined to be stab wounds.

Police have identified the suspect as Joshua Bewley, 27, of Toronto.

A Canada-wide arrest warrant has been issued and he is wanted for:

1) First-Degree Murder

He is described as 6'1" to 6'2", with a slim build. He was wearing a navy blue jacket and dark-coloured pants.
