Police appeal for information in Mischief investigation,
Millwood Road bridge

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a Public Mischief investigation.

It is reported that:

- on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at 7:06 a.m., police responded to a call indicating there was a motor vehicle dangling from the bottom of the Millwood Road bridge

- with assistance from Toronto Fire Services, an investigation was started and the vehicle was recovered

- at this time, it is believed this incident was intended as a prank

- this incident resulted in the use of significant resources that were not available to attend to genuine emergency calls for service.
