On Monday, April 23, 2018, the Toronto Police Service requested assistance identifying a man wanted in a personal injury collision investigation.
On Sunday, April 22, 2018, at 5:04 p.m., officers responded to a call for a personal injury collision at Keele Street and Eglinton Avenue West.
It is alleged that:
- a pedestrian was crossing Keele Street south of the intersection
- a motorcycle was travelling southbound on Keele Street
- the motorcycle struck the pedestrian and fled the scene
- the pedestrian received serious injuries and was taken to hospital

On Thursday, April 26, 2018, Michael Ramos, 24, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:
1) Dangerous Operation of Motor Vehicle Causing Bodily Harm
2) Fail to Stop at Scene of Accident Involving Bodily Harm
3) Obstruct Peace Officer
He appeared in court at 2201 Finch Avenue West on Friday, April 27, 2018, 10 a.m., room 202.
Investigators are still looking for the motorcycle that allegedly hit the pedestrian and are requesting assistance from the public locating it.
The motorcycle is described as a 2009 Yamaha R6, blue sport bike with lime-green rims. It sustained damage to the windshield during the collision.
