Bruce McArthur investigation,
Update

Since January 18, 2018, Bruce McArthur, 66, of Toronto, has been charged with eight counts of First-Degree Murder. It is alleged he is responsible for the deaths of:

- Selim Esen
- Andrew Kinsman
- Majeed Kayhan
- Dean Lisowick
- Soroush Mahmudi
- Skandaraj Navaratnam
- Abdulbasir Faizi
- Kirushna Kanagaratnam

Throughout the investigation police have identified the remains of:

- Andrew Kinsman
- Soroush Mahmudi
- Skandaraj Navaratnam
- Selim Esen
- Dean Lisowick
- Abdulbasir Faizi
- Kirushna Kanagaratnam

The remains of Majeed Kayhan have yet to be identified.

Since January 19, 2018, police have been doing a forensic search of an apartment on Thorncliffe Road. That examination, now complete, has led to the seizure of more than 1,800 exhibits and over 18,000 photographs of the scene and its contents were taken by investigators.

Combined with the search of other crime scenes and vehicles related to Bruce McArthur, this has been the largest forensic examination in Toronto Police Service history.

The apartment has now been turned over to property management for the building. The investigation continues.
