Two men, woman, face total of 28 charges in ongoing
Human Trafficking investigation,

Members of the Toronto Police Service Human Trafficking Enforcement Team started an investigation into an alleged Human Trafficking occurrence.

It is alleged that:

- a woman, 21, was forced to work in the sex trade by two men and a woman

- she was trafficked by all three in the Greater Toronto Area

- she was forced to abide by rules they imposed on her

- they demanded she turn over all of her earnings to them

- the two men and woman used deception, false promises, intimidation and fear to exercise control over the actions and movements of the 21-year-old woman

It is further alleged that:

- on several occasions, one of the men sexually assaulted her

- on Thursday, May 10, 2018, both men and the woman were located in Peel Region and arrested.

Daylo Robinson, 27, of Mississauga, was charged with:

1) Trafficking in Persons by recruiting
2) Trafficking in Persons by exercise control
3) Procuring
4) Procuring/Exercising Control
5) Advertising Another Person’s Sexual Services
6) Financial/Material Benefit Trafficking Person Over 18
7) Material Benefit from Sexual Services
8) Forcible Confinement
9) Extortion
10) Theft Under $5000
11) Assault
12) Possession of Weapon
13) two counts of Uttering Threats


Tyler Vickers, 27, of Mississauga, was charged with:

1) Trafficking in Persons by exercise control
2) Financial/Material Benefit Trafficking Person Over 18
3) Forcible Confinement
4) Assault
5) Material Benefit from Sexual Services
6) Procuring/Exercising Control
7) Sexual Assault


Rebecca Horton, 22, of Mississauga, was charged with:

1) Trafficking in Persons by exercise control
2) Financial/Material Benefit Trafficking Person Over 18
3) Forcible Confinement
4) Material Benefit from Sexual Services
5) Procuring/Exercising Control
6) Assault
7) Theft Under $5000

All three appeared in court at Old City Hall on Friday, May 11, 2018, 10 a.m.

Photographs of both men and the woman have been released.

Police would like to encourage all affected individuals to come forward and report Human Trafficking occurrences to police. We want to make sure that everyone has access to support services and an exit strategy, regardless of their decision to proceed criminally.

They can be coerced through violence or the threat of violence against family and friends.
