Man wanted in Assault investigation,
Queen Street West and Spadina Avenue area,
Oshae Geddes, 24, faces two charges

On Thursday, May 17, 2018, at 9:05 a.m., a woman, 42, was crossing the street in the Queen Street West and Spadina Avenue area. She was using her cell phone when it is alleged she was violently struck on the side of her face, knocking her to the ground.

On Friday, May 25, 2018, Oshae Geddes, 24, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:

1. Assault Causing Bodily Harm
2. Breach of Recognizance

He is scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall on Friday, May 25, 2018, 2 p.m., room 101.

The Toronto Police Service appreciates the assistance from the public and from businesses in the area searching their CCTV footage. The Service would also like to thank the witnesses that stopped to render assistance to the woman and to those who provided statements to the police.
