The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of seven arrests in an Aggravated Assault investigation.

It is alleged that:

- on Friday, May 25, 2018, a 19-year-old man was cycling towards a plaza at 103 Parkway Forest Drive

- he was confronted by several people who robbed him of his personal property

- he cycled away and stopped when he was struck by a weighted object

It is further alleged that:

- he was then surrounded by 15 people

- some began assaulting him while others cheered on

- he received a significant head injury and was rushed to hospital

The 19-year-old man remained in a coma for several days. He is now working towards recovery from his injuries.

On Thursday, June 7, 2018, Toronto Police Central North District executed numerous search warrants, resulting in the arrests of one man and six Young People.

Hassan Hassan, 36, of Toronto, was charged with:

1) Aggravated Assault

He was scheduled to appear in court at 1000 Finch Avenue West on Friday, June 8, 2018, 10 a.m., room 301.


A boy, 17, of Toronto, was charged with:

1) Aggravated Assault
2) Obstructing Justice


A boy, 15, of Toronto, was charged with:

1) Aggravated Assault


A boy, 17, of Toronto, was charged with:

1) Aggravated Assault


A boy, 15, of Toronto, was charged with:

1) Aggravated Assault
2) Robbery
3) Fail to Comply with court order


A boy, 17, of Toronto, was charged with:

1) Aggravated Assault
2) Theft under $5000
3) Assault with a Weapon


A boy, 16, of Toronto, was charged with:

1) Aggravated Assault
2) Robbery
3) Fail to Comply with court order


The Young People were scheduled to appear in court at 2201 Finch Avenue West on Friday, June 8, 2018, 10 a.m.

The Young People cannot be named under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

Two men are wanted.

Nakhari Henry-Robinson, 18, of Toronto, is wanted for:

1) Aggravated Assault
2) Fail to Comply with court order


Javahntai Williams, 22, of Toronto, is wanted for:

1) Aggravated Assault
2) Robbery

Images of these two men have been released.

Toronto Police Service Central North Criminal Investigations Bureau continues to investigate this matter. Any witnesses or persons who may have captured all or part of this event on video are encouraged to contact the police. All additional assistance from the community is appreciated.
